Stretching is majorly done to get the muscles into its full extent and to balance the body. It is very necessary that our muscles should be healthy as we have to carry them for long time and our movement is governed by muscles only so if any defect occurs in them it will directly affect our movement.
Stretching gives flexibility to the muscles our daily activities does not involve full use of muscles to its extent and that’s why stretching is very important to keep them in good condition other advantages of stretching are –
ü By regular stretching our regular tasks become easier to perform without difficulty like lifting weights, long driving etcetera as stretching gives motion to joints and make them strong for further use and it is very important because as the age advances their capacity starts to destroy.
ü Stretching improves the blood flow to all the areas which is why the areas gets nourished as blood contains nourishing components and the waste byproducts gets carried always and thrown out which keeps the body healthy for long time.
ü It is often called stress buster as stretching sooths tight muscles which ultimately relieves the stress of body and make it more relieved.
ü It is often carried out to gain better posture specially in tall people who are tend to walk with a bent in the shoulder area which causes the muscles to tight and makes the bad impression by stretching the tightness in that particularly area slowly gets resolved and it governs body a proper right posture
Many people claim that stretching helps in prevention of injuries or soreness of body which is not proper as stretching is not seen curing or preventing injuries yes it gives preparedness to muscles for difficult motions but does not prevent injuries. Stretching is a technique which needs to be properly understood because it can cause pain if not carried properly that’s why best if performed in front of trainer.
