We always wonder that how come now a days any fruit you pick up is good in color and always sweet not like in olden days where we have to select them for sweetness this is work of harmful growth promoters, pesticides fertilizers injections etc but the foods which are grown in natural way without using any of these is called organic foods.
Though different techniques are used in growing organic foods but that are not dangerous as pesticides. They cultivate the plants by using nutrient rich soil and ward off the pests by using environmental friendly means.
It is useful for every one be it environment, farmers or consumers as-
Ø The most important benefit of using organic foods is to prevent our body from harmful effects of pesticides which stick up to the body and creates various problems as respiratory problems, memory impairment, skin problems and even cancer(if consumed in large amounts)
Ø Organic foods are as per research are more rich in nutrients as they are prepared by using nourished soil rather than conventional foods whose nutrient content is deficit.
Ø Even organic foods are rich in antioxidants than other; antioxidants are needed by body to ward off dangerous free radicals which cause heart ailments.
Ø Organic foods are good for farmers because when farmers spray the pesticides on crop they linger on in the air and so they get in the body due to respiration and hence can cause damage.
Ø It is found that the nutrient content in organic food is much higher than other. Certain nutrients are richly available in organic foods like selenium, calcium, magnesium all the essential nutrients are found 60 to 70 higher in organic foods.
