now a days technology is being used everywhere so why not classroom after all it’s the foundation of our future and the need of technology is felt strongly in classrooms itself children in recent time have been more advanced in terms of use of technology and they can effectively imagine things which are shown to them this is the reason why they are fond of television, videogames and computers so if we imply same blackboard teaching in classroom how can we expect their attention or learning and that’s why use of technology is so important apart from better understanding various technologies can provide various benefits like-

ü  Technology enable better communication and interaction it is very important to know children views or what they think about certain things and here technology helps like using audio visual aids can help in improving interaction between student and teacher.

ü  It is very important first to catch students attention many teachers will agree with me that while classes students are always seen talking or playing this is because plain lectures or speech does not attract them instead use graphics, modules ,computer and see they will watch it with great interest which ultimately assist in better learning.

ü  One new technology is developed which is of great use that is whiteboards these are normal boards but attached to the computers so that if teacher writes or types anything on it we can save it for future so if due to some reason a student is not able to attend class for number of days in spare time he can review what teacher has taught in those days

ü  Use of computer is not new but proper use is necessary and by attaching various projectors you can actually show different things to students on screen as in science many species of animals or birds are described simply show their pictures to the students and they will remember it forever

Technology is advancing day by day number of things are being developed but the thing is teacher should pay attention to all the new techniques and imply them in classroom many technique are affordable also and you can always select between them. It is high time now each and every school should start thinking of adopting new techniques in their schools and not only teacher’s parents should also go for the schools which are advanced and cater the need of today’s smart children.
