We generally avoid eating it due to its bland flavor but it contains so many varied nutritional qualities that can give great benefits to human body.

 

Spinach is a wonder pill which consists many rare vitamins minerals and iron which are essential for us do you remember leaving spinach curry in your plate and your mother scolding for not eating it why because she was aware of its great use for your growing age.

 

It is the cheapest of al and available in any season one can prepare anything out of it spoups, curries or salad. It is mainly important for-

 

·         Spinach is loaded with flavonoids which work as a n antioxidant in body destroys all the free radicals and prevents cholesterol from oxidizing. It is even rich in choline which helps to prevent arthrosclerosis which is the starting cause of heart attack.

 

·         Its vitamin content has been found effective in preventing cancers especially cancer of lung colon or breasts by limiting the growth of carcinogens.

 

·         Its sodium potassium content is ideal for lowering the blood pressure in body as it is low in sodium and rich in potassium it reduces the blood force and eases the blood vessels.

 

·         Spinach is rich in vitamin k which is very rare to find in other foods which is very essential to prevent the breakage in brittle bones and by working with calcium it ensures the prevention of osteoporosis which occurs in elder people due to porous bones.

 

·         Spinach is loaded with vitamin A which is also rare to find anywhere. Vitamin A not only maintains good eyesight but also prevents macular degeneration that can lead to cataracts, night blindness etc.

 

·         Last but not the least it is rich in iron which is very necessary to prevent anemia especially in young girls by maintaining hemoglobin count in body.

 

So by reading all this you should not hesitate buying a bunch of spinach next time just make sure that you wash it properly and before cutting as washing after cutting will loose its water soluble vitamins and without thinking of its taste eat it like a medicine to lead a healthy lifestyle.
